My yellow lab sprocket loves pretty much any food, but she goes nuts over zuke's z-ridge dental bones. She would eat them every night if i let her and sits and stares at the closet where i keep them in the hopes that i will break own and give her another one. Thank you zuke's. our one year old yellow lab was recently diagnosed with two bad acls. our surgeon tells us we have some time, but she's facing tplo surgery. we were advised to put quincy on regular doses of glucosamine & chondroitin. a friend mentioned "hip action" so we gave it a shot. quincy loooooves them and learned 2 new tricks to get her daily dose. i know it's not a cure, but we have noticed she's not limping as much and the symptoms are less frequent. 2 zukes a day will hopefully keep the surgeon at bay. i've also recommended zuke's to yahoo's "orthodogs" chat group which is chock full of pets with hip/knee problems.

Our dog, dixie, has been our faithful companion during our long marathon training runs. i have two of the pickiest dogs on the planet. my dog bosco carries his treats to another part of the house and then discards it in the middle of the floor. My 4 year old peke was diagnosed with arthritis in her back knee a few months ago. she has been lethargic ever since, we have even had to carry her up and down the steps. the medicine that the vet recommended was very strong...she would have to get her liver and kidneys checked every month for signs of organ failure! i couldn't do that so i have spect alot of time carrying her around. a few weeks ago my sister sent me a package of zukes treats after i told her about boo's problem. i can't believe the change! she is running around outside like wildfire and runs up the steps - no problem. she is even jumping up on the couch again! thank you for making our boo happy again.

I've always been an avid eater and have loved food for more than 12 years! unfortunately i've lost more teeth recently and now it's tooth to gum all around my mouth. looked like no more treats. however my best friend found hipactions and i'm loving this soft new treat. I have a 2 year old flat coated retriever, named cole. He has a very sensitive stomach and grains are not a good thing in our house. well, i've been looking for a wonderful chew that wasn't too expensive and that would some what last with a power chewer. I had been giving him nylabones, but even they wouldn't last too long. i picked up a z-ridge bone because i caught my eye; and i have been giving him the mini's as training treats so i knew that your products were easy on his stomach. And boy, cole went nuts! he started sniffing it and trying to bite it out of my hand, with the paper still on it, while we were in the pet store. So i bought that instead of the nylabone, and i have a very happy dog lying at my feet.

At 6 months of age my doberman mix was hit by a car. She sustained substantial damage to her left wrist joint. She is now 5 years old and in addition to arthritis, has less than 10% mobility in that joint. She had frequent boughts of lameness, often resulting in weeks where she would not put weight on the injured leg. In the year that she received hipaction twice a day as a supplement she has only experienced occassional lamenes. It will last a day or two and then we get back into our long walk routine. I have been giving my newfoundland the mini naturals since she was a very small pup. Great for training. she loves them! but i could not believe her reaction when the vets office gave her the glazed chicken z filets. Wow! she went crazy and can't get enough! thanks for changing it up for her!

My 9-year old retired ranch dog (border collie) has had arthritis for about 4 years. in part due to injury, and now age. i've tried every glucosamine/chondroitin treat i could find. He eats most of them, but the results i saw with zuke's was markedly different. i'm in miles city, mt, and ordering more because i've found nothing that compares. i'm not a vet, but i suspect the quality of the ingredients has something to do with how well they can be used in the dog's body. i'm recommending that my local vet carry these!

Our sixteen-year-old basset hound bagnana has been counted out so many times that our vet, when asked how long she will live, simply says: "all bets are off with the miracle dog." for that's what she's called at the vet's. After planning our puppy adoption for the last year, in august, my husband & i finally got maeby. She is a gorgeous beagle pup, and we have been in love with her from the moment we met. Maeby had some belly bug problems about a week after she came home with us. Her stomach would get puffy with gas, and she wouldn't eat much throughout the day. My dog birkie is nearly 15 years old. Last july she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She has lost a lot of weight and it's been difficult to get her to eat, even though her doggie hospice diet consists of freshly cooked meat, poultry and eggs, she often balks at her meals. I had started giving moe bland traditional puppy treats, he was ok with them but i wasn't. I wanted something good for him but it also had taste great and thats how i found zuke's. I have a siberian husky, i tried peanut butter 'n blue berryz last week, i was surprise to be honest how affordable is and how great the ingredients are, my dog is allergic to chicken, chicken fat and chicken broth, most of the treats out there has any of this three ingredients that my dog can't have so is a challenge to get something good for him because he gets bored really quick too, but since he tried the mini bakes, he will do anything to get a treat, and he loves them. I love this product i would never buy anything else but this. I love it !!!!!! i would reconmend it to anybody.

I'm always on the lookout for healthy treats for my dogs. i have bichons and havanese. the bichons in particular tend to be allergic to wheat, corn, and additives in general. i ran across hip action and bought a small bag because i have a 12 year old bichon who has been taking arthritus medication that was slowly destroying her digestive tract. it is amazing how well she is doing on just one treat each day. she is off her medication completely and some days she even plays like a puppy again. i've put all my dogs on one treat each day because i amd a show breeder and i do all the health testing before i breed, including hip ofa's. so this is my preventative for any hip problems. they love it so much i also use it for bait in the show ring! don't ever quit making it!!!!!

Our yorkshire terrier, duke turned 16 this past april 2009. He has always been a very feisty dog, but this past year really started to show his age. Duke doesn't go much for dog treats, but i had read a story about a senior dog that benefited greatly from glucosamine treats. I started to do some research and then scoured the local pet shops and superstores, only to find the prices very high. I know that duke won't eat just any dog treat, so on my last trip to the super market, i decided to check the pet aisle. It was there that the zuke's package caught my eye. My 6-year-old american staffordshire terrier tore her acl (ccl actually) and ended up having a very complicated and expensive knee surgery. after the surgery i was informed that there was some arthritis that had developed in her knee. six months after the surgery, miss cleo was stil holding her leg up when she first woke up in the morning. her surgeon informed me that it was possible that the arthritis was causing this problem and i should start her on glucosamine/chondroitin plus omega 3s. zukes was the only treat i could find that actually told me how much glucosamine was in each and every treat. that was so important to me and i was amazed that i could not find another product that had the same information. just about two weeks after starting her on zuke's she stopped holding her leg up and the slight limp has completely disappeared! she's running and playing like she did when she was 2 and i can not thank you enough! zuke's has made so much of a difference in her life!

Marlowe is a 12 1/2 yr. Old english setter. She has cancer and is highly sensitive to wheat and all fillers. Her spine is bridged and it causes soreness in her hips. I found zukes and tried them because of the ingredients along with the support of canine cancer. She loves them! she's getting around much better and would make them the main course of her meal if i'd let her. Now we have our other english martha on them as a preventative measure and she thinks they are the best thing since peanut butter was invented!!

I first found your powerbones treats at one of the mast general stores while on vacation. I bought one bag, and tyke, my labradoodle puppy, is crazy for them! they are a wonderful training treat, because tyke will do just about anything to get one more! (including stealing the bag off the kitchen counter!) she is just starting agility work, and they make a wonderful reward on the course, or at home. Keep making them - tyke will keep eating them!!!!

Hi! we have the finickiest chow mix known to man. We bought a bag of peanut butter power bonz at the pride fest 6/24/2001. Narnia actually liked the treats!! then we gave a small piece to simon. Simon thought the treats were terrific. The catch is... Simon is a bird (a blue crowned conure to be exact). So, your bonz were hits with everyone! well, except carmen. My yellow lab, finn, and i compete in a growing sport called dock jumping. it is an awesome way to bond with your dog and also an excellent way to wear him out! but, with power bones on our side, finn goes strong all day during an event, jumping on average about 19 feet, usually around 20 or 30 times! during training, he does uphill and shallow water retrieves and with power bones, he doesn't miss a beat. we love zuke's! he loves them because they taste great...i love them because they're made in the usa of excellent ingredients!

What a great find to discover zuke's at my local natural food store. my yorkshire terrier puppy, sophie, is exceptionally hard-headed and not motivated by food, so training has been challenging. she is so strong and agile that we knew she would exceed with agility training if only we could find something to motivate her. I found the jerky naturals at a pet store in vermont, when i was visiting friends at killington. They're awesome. My pittbull/rottweiler mix has a bad time processing any beef, wheat, corn, and a lot of other foods, so i was extremely excited to find a treat that had none of the products that he can't eat. My pug scooter has allergies and a thyroid condition. many other "premium" treats would lead to allergic reactions, but not so with the jerky naturals. Scooter is a very picky eater and loves these treats. I break them up into several pieces and put it into his kong. i have also found the jerky naturals can also be crumbled and reformed around pills to give my dog medication.

I am so happy we found your jerky naturals. we have a 15 year old papillion who was a rescue from a puppy mill. we got him when he was 7. he has always been in poor health, heart disease, liver and kidney disease and cancer. over the years his appetite has been very poor and he continued to lose weight. there were many days that he would refuse to eat at all. I needed a treat to take with me when maggie the pitbull and i do pet therapy at the hospital, these jerky treats do the trick and don't get crumbs everywhere. Plus, i put them inside her kong toy and she actually wants to work at getting them out.

We train dogs here at the sanger powers correctional center. the dogs eventually go to the handicapped. Our primary training technique is positive reinforcement, where we reward the dogs when they respond to the given command. they really love zukes treats and are eager to please, knowing that they are going to get a zuke when they respond.

Hey pat, i wanted to thank you for making such awesome pet treats! i know they are totally healthy, high quality, and gaging by the dogs' drool, they must taste pretty darn great too! when i even say the word zukes, it registers off the "tail-wagging/ears perking up/happy panting" scale with my dogs! tybal (rott/german shep) and teva (lab/pitt), get zukes during and/or after our daily hikes in the sandia foothills to fuel up or refuel but also just because they are sweetie pies. the beef jerky naturals are their favorites although they love all of the mini naturals too! these make excellent training treats. i used to have to break up a treat into smaller pieces, but now i jsut give them the minis since they are convenient, plus nutritious, moist and delicious (i am assuming they are delicious ... I've actually never tried them myself!) i recently gave them the new z-ridge bones and they immediately went to their separate spots in the yard to feast and to guard their treasures. they get very selfish when it comes to their zukes! i love that the z-ridge bones are healthy, keep their teeth clean and their breath fresh! thanks again and keep up the great work!

I've never seentokyo, my 8.5 month-old boston terrier, prouder or happier than when she was given a z-ridge dental bone! normally, she's not posessive about her toys or treats, but she carried this bone around the house whimpering and whining for lack of a good enough hiding place for her tastey new prize. it warmed my heart so much, i couldn't even speak! i don't even care what it does to her breath--it makes her so happy, i will be giving her a z-ridge bone as often as i can!! thanks for making her (and my) day!!

My yellow lab sprocket loves pretty much any food, but she goes nuts over zuke's z-ridge dental bones. She would eat them every night if i let her and sits and stares at the closet where i keep them in the hopes that i will break own and give her another one. I bought one of the new cranberry z-ridges for my dogs to share. however, it turned out to be so good, one of my dogs refused to share. It brought out a side of my dog's personality i had never seen! he was obsessed with it. I'm convinced it's "doggie crack."

I have a little shitzu named dutch. I was giving him a lot of different brands of chew bones but every time he developed some skin allergy from them. Since i started to buy z-ridge he has had no rash or itchiness at all. He likes this bone so much that as soon as i give it to him he disappears with it till it is gone. I have a 2 year old flat coated retriever, named cole. He has a very sensitive stomach and grains are not a good thing in our house. well, i've been looking for a wonderful chew that wasn't too expensive and that would some what last with a power chewer. I had been giving him nylabones, but even they wouldn't last too long. i picked up a z-ridge bone because i caught my eye; and i have been giving him the mini's as training treats so i knew that your products were easy on his stomach. And boy, cole went nuts! he started sniffing it and trying to bite it out of my hand, with the paper still on it, while we were in the pet store. So i bought that instead of the nylabone, and i have a very happy dog lying at my feet.

My dog, maui is suffering from some kind of wheat allergy. i found the z-ridge bones at her groomers and decided to try one...she loved it so much that she carried it around the house with her for an hour, then she ate it. her breath smells wonderful, and i'm happy that i can give her something to chew, and freshen her breath, that won't cause her to break out in hives! thank you so much!

I bought the beef z filets in nyc while on vacation. what parent doesn't bring back a present for their child? i'm glad to find they are sold locally too because casey went nuts over them. i gave him a small piece and walked away only to find him sitting staring up at the bag on the cabinet. I gave him another piece. it took two extra pieces to satisfy him. he likes his treats but not like this. i'm off to buy more tomarrow morning. and some dogs i know are going to get some for christmas. dew claws up!

I have been giving my newfoundland the mini naturals since she was a very small pup. Great for training. she loves them! but i could not believe her reaction when the vets office gave her the glazed chicken z filets. Wow! she went crazy and can't get enough! thanks for changing it up for her!

Our 5lb yorkie puppy was snubbing most treats and our groomer suggested glazed chicken z-filets.... Wow were they a hit. Everytime he hears the bag open he gets excited. We are even able to break it up into small pieces so the bag lasts a while and they fit perfectly into his tiny mouth. Thank you for such a wonderful product. They even smell good too!

Our older shelter-chihuahua had very few teeth left when we got her so she can't eat hard snacks. She's also just crazy for chicken and after many trials and errors we finally found the only snack she will eat- the chicken z-filets. Our cat-owning neighbors here in washington,dc, who just happen to be research doctors at the u.s. My nephew has been promoting glucosamine & chondroitin for stiff, arthritic limbs of our cats jumper (19) and maggie (16)since he had good results with his collie on drug store vitamins. a recent vacation to the carolinas found us in a mast general store and in front of a table full of your fine products and they are made specifically for dogs and cats! cats at an advanced age like these two can be extremely finicky eaters but i thought this worth a try. wow!! maggie has turned her nose up at every treat set in front of her for 5 years and jumper can pick a prescription pill out of any treat or food. they are both jumping on hind legs at the sound of the bag after 1 week. they must like something here! the humidity of summer is jumpers rough time of year as his hips and rear legs stiffen. we'll keep a very close eye on how he responds here, and if this standing on hind legs continues and if maggie keeps on eating then i guess you will have a loyal new customer family! also-thanks for a very helpful website. good to know there are local stores carrying your products and that i can order direct if i need to. will let you know how jumper and maggie do with "hip action" over time. thanks fred wordell

Our 13 year old cat, fairyin, was taking glucosamine in the form of liquid added to her food daily and even though she didn't like the taste of it she would eat it anyway because she knew it was making her able to walk good again. now, with your hip action cat treats she gets her daily glucosamine plus the needed chondroitin as well and she absolutely loves the taste of the treats!! it makes me really happy to see her gobble them up and watch her get to enjoy her morning soft food again without that yucky liquid remedy in it. forever grateful to you all for this "miracle" product!! thanks tons!!

About 4 months ago dickens fell from his window perch when the velcro let loose. I did not know he was injured or if he had arthritis setting in his hind hips. He is 14 yrs old now and weighs 13 lbs. A friend of mine was out in co and told me about zukes hip action for cats. My 3 year old cat, hoots, was diagnosed with a knee displacia problem when she was just a year old. I was told that there was no guarantee that a surgury could even cure the problem and advised to use that option as a last resort. I found hip action treats a little over a year ago and my usually picky eater fell in love with them. I have since seen a marked improvement in her, i haven't seen her limping at all in well over 6 months and she is much more active and much happier than she used to be. Out senior cat java, was a leaper when she was young, but over the past year has really shown her age and slowed down. We have had to add "cat stairs" for her to get up to her favorite perches. We found hip action at our local "chic" pet supply store after trying every other glucosamine product on the market. Java, has never been driven by food, so it is hard to trick her into eating a tablet in the place of her precious "cookies". She was wary at first- different consistancy- then she gobbled them up. I heard about your products from a yahoo group i was in. i have a senior catizen named dusty who is 13 years young. he often walked stiffly, like his joints hurt. he wasn't as playful as he used to be. i tried your hip action, and it is like i have a brand new cat!! he doesn't move stiffly anymore, and has even started playing with his cat toys again. every day he reminds me to feed him his treats. he loves them, and he is a very picky eater. My 9 year old maine coon had knee surgery at 1 year old and stopped jumping on anything higher than about 3 feet. now, after giving him the hip action treats, i have to watch where i put things because he’s jumping and running like a kitten again. as for the taste; he’s tried several times to rip the package open to get after them and, again, he hasn’t done that since he was a kitten. this goes for all the flavors, as well! thanks for giving me back the little kitty i remember.

I adopted my kitty when she was about 9 weeks old (she is now 2). She was abandoned at 4 weeks and came from a litter of 9 kittens. I love her to death, but i must say she is horribly misbehaved. She lives for food, any food at all and it is a struggle to maintain her weight on her 6 pound tiny little frame. She loves these treats. She would give up a swim in the dogs water bowl, a climb up the curtains, a swing on the pool table lights, or even batting an ornament off the counter for just one of these treats. Thank you very much for coming out with a product that is worthy of sensational recognition. Georgie, our "brown tabby retriever" (he retrieves better than the puppy) will not leave me alone since i brought natural purrz home yesturday. I always thought i was giving our cats a healthy balance of food...yet, i was terribly leary about all the gluten in their food, since we do not eat wheat ourselves, why should we give it to our cats? then this whole pet food recall really made me search for a better product than what the markets have to offer...this is when i found purrz. Georgie is 8 years old, and he has always been a kitten at heart...he has not changed since the day i brought him home. The ambassador, our pure jet black noble man, is more sutble, never begs or really plays, he just turned 11. Hi there, it is a rare that i am inspired to write any company about a product, but after buying one bag of natural purrz i have to tell you how well your salmon purrz have gone over with our family cat. mia (our cat) is a huge fan, to put it lightly! i have never seen her respond to anything (including tuna out of a can) like she does with her salmon purrz, it is amazing! my six year old daughter has had more fun putting purrz in her pocket so the cat follows her around the house like the pied piper! congrats on making the first healthy treat that our cat goes crazy for. mia demands that we be loyal customers! regards, tony lottis
