Our maltese Toby Joe was diagnosed with a floating patella (knee cap) at a young age, apparently a fairly common ailment in toy breeds. Although not too bad at first, we could see that it was progressing. The vet suggested glucosamine and chondroitin which came in powder or liquid. He hated the powder and the liquid was a struggle, even with a snausage broken into it. I discovered Hip Action at Mast General Store recently and Toby adores it! Within weeks, he is able to once again launch himself up onto his favorite napping places or stand on his hind legs and beg for more Zukes! Thank you so much for such a wonderful product. He enjoys munching on it, and you have made it so easy for us to remain consistent with his treatment! We're now ready to try some other Zukes goodies just for fun and enjoyment! :-)

We rescued two great girls this last year after the passing of our great old boy Guinness. One of our new girls is a beautiful Lab named Kona and the other is a 7 year old English Setter named Molly. Molly has been through her paces before coming home with us. She was real achey and we figured some rather concerning arthritis was affecting her. We tried other medicinal types of glucosamine and she wouldnt eat it. She would not touch a single pill, chewable or anything that resembled something like medicine. UNTIL HIP ACTION. Now she gobbles up the treats every dinner without fuss and without protest. (if you have setters you will understand the protest). She loves these treats and I love that they work so well. Back in April 07, I went away on a 4 day business trip. When I returned home I found my 10 year old Sheltie-Collie mix in a miserable condition. I though that someone had beat him and broke his back. He could not get up or move. He just laid there and cried when he saw me. He seemed fine when I left. I questioned my Wife and Kids but they told me he seem a little slow on that morning but nothing had happen as far as they knew. This dog constantly was up and down stairs, up and down from the bed so my best guess was that he missed a step and got hurt. I took him to the Vet and that’s when I got educated on hip dysphasia. X-rays show me the joints and what was going on. He gave my dog some Glusosamine and some pain medicine but he did respond well to the pills. I knew he wouldn't. My dog never liked treats of any sorts and anytime he needed pills they had to be in small pieces wrapped in bread. I started researching and found Zuke's Hip Action. I ordered the first bag of Beef flavored in Mid-May hoping that my dog would eat them. When they first arrived, he ate the first 4 or 5 I gave him but it was time for his flea/tic treatment which always makes him sick enough to loose his appetite for a few days and unfortunately that meant he would have nothing to do with the treats even after feeling better. I wanted to know if the treats would work since he was in so much pain, I didn't give up. I ordered the Bag of peanut butter flavor and when they arrived, I promptly pulled one out the bag and put a dab of jelly on it, shoved it in his mouth and down the hatch. It is now August 12, 2007 and he's been eating them every day along with the power bones that I have started giving him. He is still a 10 year old dog and not a puppy, he is smart enough not to jump up on the bed although he has when he got real excited once - he knows it hurts coming down. He has slowed down on the steps but he has no problems with them. He runs after the bunnies in the yard in the morning and has no trouble getting up. He is not in the pain of a few months ago and we owe it all to Zuke's hip action. I have not over stated the facts nor have I embellished on the results. This is the truth, it helped me and my dog Marty, and if you give it to your dog, I believe it will help you too.. Be faithful in giving it to your dog and don't expect results in a couple of days.
